iPad For Business?

Does your business require an iPad? There are good and bad things about this machine. Here is a review to help you determine whether this would be a wise investment or not.

The iPad is essentially a “do everything” mobile piece of entertainment. It is almost ten inches long, meaning it’s quite large when compared with other mobile devices. This is why the screen size is so big.

Is it hard to carry around?

Despite what you would think, it’s amazingly easy because of its narrow width. It’s just one half inches thick.

Does it have wi-fi ability?

Yes it does. Therefore, it is a great tool for using the internet. This is particularly true if you are a business person on the go. It’s simpler to carry around than a laptop, because it’s much smaller.

And since it has iBook software, you can read eBooks on it. This would come in handy for business owners in many instances.

Is it complicated to use?

No, the touch screen makes it much simpler than many other mobile devices. This makes navigation extremely easy, and you don’t need an MIT degree to figure out a million buttons.

How powerful is it?

It’s got one gigabyte of power. This makes it very quick compared with other mobile device. So if you have a few applications running at the same time, you don’t have to fret that it’s going to crash on you.

What about using it for writing?

It has the iWork system. This is similar to Microsoft Office. You can use Word, produce spreadsheets, do slide shows, and so on.

So are there any negatives?

There are a few. For one thing, $500 is a lot to pay for any mobile device. Also, the lack of flash prevents you from watching video on YouTube. As a business owner, you will often find yourself on websites that have their videos on this popular site, so this is a capability you would probably like to have.

This is certainly something you would expect to be able to do for the price. But don’t fret, because you can be sure they are going to get this rectified very soon.

What about battery length?

The iPad is quite long lasting. The batteries can go for roughly ten hours. Also, testers have found this number to be higher, depending on what you are using it for. On the other hand, if you have a number of applications open, this number will probably be less. It all depends on how many programs you have open at once.

On the whole, the iPad is a great machine, and the pros outweigh the cons. If you have a business and are constantly on the go, this would be a good investment.
